New Finance Director For City Of Canyon

The City of Canyon has announced that Joel Wright will be the new Finance Director after a City Commission meeting on Monday.
Wright, a Canyon resident, and West Texas A&M graduate is a Certified Public Account and has over 27 years of accounting experience in the Amarillo area.
Wright will be responsible for managing all aspects of Canyon’s finances, procurement, and purchasing.
He is replacing former director Chris Sharp who accepted the position of Vice President for Business Affairs at Amarillo College.
Wright will begin his duties on February the 6th.
