New Scam Emerging In Castro County

The Castro County Sheriff’s Office has issued a warning about scammers claiming to raise money for the Dimmit Country Club.
The scam reportedly includes a caller claiming to be a sponsor for the country club raising money for charities, such as the American Cancer Society.
If you receive a call or text from (903) 466-0814 you are urged to not give out any of your personal information.
