New WT Scholarships

West Texas A&M University has more opportunities through scholarships for new and current students. 

The first of these opportunities is the WT Hope Scholarship, which offers more than $500,000 to new  students and transfer students, primarily aimed toward first generation, or low income families. 

The WT Opportunity Grant offers $180,000 for returning students needing financial aid, but don’t qualify for a Pell Grant or Texas Grant. 

Funding for these grants  both come from the Texas A&M Systems Board of Regents,  and is part of systems initiative to ensure A&M Schools remain accessible to anyone and everyone looking for an education. 

The scholarship and the grant both have different applications.
