Ren Thompson was delivered at 1:04 a.m., weighed in at 8 lbs. 4 oz., and measured 19.5 inches long.
The proud parents — Tabitha and Russell Thompson — received a congratulatory basket from BSA to celebrate the birth.
Kareem Brown was Northwest Texas Healthcare System’s first baby of 2023.
Young Kareem started his journey at 7:23 a.m. Sunday and weighed in at 6 lbs. 4 oz. and measured 18 3/4 inches long.
Baby and mom, Arek Duang, are happy and healthy.
In the statement, NWTHS said, “mom and dad are excited to welcome their baby boy and are overjoyed starting 2023 with their son.”
