Newest AFD Cadets Set to Begin Firefighting Careers

The Amarillo Fire Department has announced the graduation of 22 members of their most recent cadet class.
Each cadet underwent rigorous training and certification in EMT-B, Structural Firefighting, and Hazardous Materials operations, and will begin their firefighting careers on June 28th.
The department will hold an official graduation ceremony on Friday, June 30th at 6:30 pm at the Amarillo Civic Center Grand Plaza.
