Oklahoma Woman Dies in Wheeler County Crash

An Oklahoma woman is dead after a crash one mile East of Briscoe in Wheeler County on Wednesday afternoon.
The driver of a 2005 Ford Taurus was traveling eastbound on Farmed and Market Road 1046 and disregarded a stop sign at the intersection of US Highway 83.
Once in the intersection, the Ford Taurus collided with a Ford F-250 pickup driving northbound on US 83.
The passenger of the Taurus 17-year-old Katelyn Freeman was transported to Northwest Texas Hospital where she died from her injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by the Texas Department of Public Safety.
