Lots of money to be awarded to contractors and service providers Tuesday when the City Council meets for the final time this month.

What appears to be something in the area of $9 million is listed among the agenda items, with more money involved in things like Amendment 2 to the agreement between the city and Producer Owned Beef.

Another change order adds just over 79 thousand dollars to the new Transit Multimodal Terminal; that revised amount is now nearly 9 million dollars.

Money for the demolition of the Thompson Park Swimming pool, and replacing the football turf at the Amarillo Civic Center Complex is expected to be awarded as well.

Other projects and expenditures on the agenda include the demolition, site preparation and construction of Transformation Park, the ticketing system for the Civic Center Box Office that was pulled from the last agenda, and the selection of Baker Tilly to aid in the search for our next city manger.

The meeting is at 3 p.m. View agendas and watch online at amarillo.gov.
