Over $20 Million Worth Of Drugs Seized Heading To Canada

Around $21.5 million worth of drugs were seized after a traffic stop in Wheeler County.
On Thursday, November 21st, deputies stopped a 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan on a traffic violation and learned that the driver, from Canada, was renting the passenger van to help a friend move.
Deputies were given consent to search the minivan and found 15 various taped boxes in the back of the van containing a total of 205 pounds of cocaine and 260 pounds of methamphetamine.
The drugs were being transported to Canada.
