Panhandle Auto Burglary and Theft Unit Recover a Stolen Trailer and More Stolen Property

The Panhandle Auto Burglary and Theft Unit received a tip about a stolen trailer that lead to the recovery of more stolen property.
On January 3 the stolen trailer was found to be located at a residence in the 300 block of North Van Buren.
A search warrant was secured and a stolen ATV and a piece of equipment that is valued at $7,000 were found on the property.
A short-barreled shotgun and four grams of methamphetamine was also found in the home.
The case is still under investigation by the Amarillo Police Department.
