Pedestrian Injured After Being Struck By Vehicle

One person has been sent to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle Tuesday morning.

The Amarillo Police Department were called out to the area of Amarillo Boulevard and Travis at 7 am where a man was found injured in front of Dollar General.

Officials say he was walking eastbound on the edge of the boulevard where he was struck on his left side.

The injured man did not have identification on him.

The vehicle that hit him left the scene.
