Police Looking For Person Of Interest In Shooting

Amarillo Police are on the hunt for a person of interest in a Sunday morning shooting.

APD says it responded to a call at 5;45 p.m. to a shooting at Northeast 12th and Heather.

They found a male victim, identified as 23-year-old Aung Oo, who had been shot outside his vehicle.

Life-saving procedures were started and carried out by paramedics and fire personnel, With the man being transported to the hospital and later pronounced dead.

This person of interest was last seen on foot in the Eastridge area near Heather Street, wearing an olive-green jacket over a grey hoodie, with light blue denim jeans with tears in them black, white, and red tennis shoes, and black mask-like face covering.
