Queen Latifah Shares an Update on “Girls Trip” Sequel

Queen Latifah was on The Tamron Hall Show and gave an update about whether there would be a sequel to the movie Girls Trip.
She said when they signed on to do the movie it was with the understanding there would be a sequel.
She said they just got word that the sequel is happening sooner than later.
Latifah said, I don’t know where I’m going to be next summer shooting this movie but it better be somewhere exotic.
The 2017 movie made $115 million domestically and $140 million at the global box office.
