Amarillo’s Rails To Trails Project is offering an opportunity for all artists,including metal workers , landscapers and architects.
The City wants to build a gabion, a fence like structure, such as a cage, cylinder or box filled with rocks concrete, sand, or soil for use in landscaping and other applications.
The location of the project will be at Plains Bouleva5d and Western Street
The city’s Beautification and Public Arts Advisory Board created the project in anticipation of awarding matching grants in the future for beautification projects
