Randall County Indicted
A woman is indicted in Randall County on multiple alleged armed kidnappings.
Court documents detailed that 28-year-old Maricela Perez was indicted in Randall County on a charge of “aggravated kidnapping with a deadly weapon,” after a previous June 20 incident in which she allegedly kidnapped one person while threatening him with a gun.
She was recently reported on KGNC News to have been arrested on July 9th in Amarillo after she allegedly kidnapped another woman out of her home while brandishing a gun. After firing a shot inside the home, Perez allegedly drove the woman around with a small child in the backseat until later dropping the woman off at a local convenience store.
APD officials stated that Perez was arrested and transported to the Potter County Jail for the blood draw. Perez was then arrested for an alleged DWI with a child passenger and unlawful carrying of a weapon.
The Randall County indictment against Perez stops her possession of guns, or drugs. Her bond is recommended at 30.000 dollars.
