Rep. Four Price Will Not Seek Another Term

State Representative for the 87th District in the Texas House Four Price issued a statement Wednesday saying he will not seek an eighth term.

Price, whose district covers the Texas Panhandle, has held his office since being first elected in 2011 and really has not been challenged since.

With the announcement he will not seek re-election. Price noted, ““It’s an honor for me to serve as the State Representative for the 87th District in the Texas House of Representatives, and I’m thankful to be representing the best people in Texas.” 

“It’s been the privilege of a lifetime to work on their behalf in the legislature and play a meaningful role in passing landmark legislation. I’ve given this decision considerable thought and believe the time is right to complete my service as a House member.”

Price’s term will expire in January of 2025.
