Rollover In Oldham County Claims Three Lives

According to a release from the Texas Department of Public Safety, a rollover crash in Oldham County Saturday left three people dead.

The accident occurred just after 10:30 Saturday morning. 

20-year-old Angel Aguilar of Hereford, Texas, was driving a 2005 Chevy Silverado heading west on I-40. The vehicle also included a 15-year-old girl, 9-year-old girl, and 5-month-old boy as passengers. All were also from Hereford.

The report notes Aguilar’s Silverado drifted into the center median, causing it to roll a number of times before coming to rest in a ditch on the other side of the interstate.

The passengers, all said to have been unsecured, were ejected from the truck. Aguilar and the two girls were reported dead at the scene. The 5-month-old boy was taken to a local hospital where he was treated and released.

That accident is under investigation.
