Saturday Veterans Day Events

Veterans Day may be on Monday but there will be some Saturday events to celebrate our nation’s heroes.
A Texas Panhandle Honor Flight Breakfast will be held at the Amarillo Senior Citizens Center for $7.00 a plate or $10.00 all you can eat.
The Veterans Day parade will start a 10:00 a.m. and will go down Polk and Harrison streets from 5th to 11th streets.
During the parade, a special flyover will be done by the Honor Flight Squadron.
At 11:30 a.m. the Amarillo VA Healthcare System will sponsor a Welcome Home Event at the Tri-State Fairgrounds Rex Baxter Building with free burgers and entertainment.
