Single Vehicle Rollover Takes The Life Of New Jersey Man

A single-vehicle rollover claims the life of a man two miles east of McLean.

Around 9:40 Saturday morning, 26-year-old Kyle Sausto was driving a Lincoln MKZ westbound on I-40 when the vehicle veered into the center median.

The driver corrected causing the vehicle to travel across the westbound lanes of I-40, onto the service road and into a ditch north of the service road where it rolled over.

A passenger, 35-year-old Mark Schoonejongen in the vehicle was not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene.

The driver told DPS Officials that he had fell asleep. 

The accident remains under investigation.
