Skywarn Spotter Class to be Held in Dalhart

The National Weather Service will host a Skywarn class in Dalhart on February 4th.

The class will teach students how to be spotters during a severe weather event.

Skywarn is a volunteer program with up to 400,000 trained severe weather spotters.

Volunteers help keep their communities safe by providing on the ground weather reports to the National Weather Service.

The class will take place at the Dalhart Volunteer Fire Department from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
