Sod Poodles Return for Independence Weekend Celebrations

The Amarillo Sod Poodles are set to return to the friendly confines of HODGETOWN, and they’ve got fun promotions planned all weekend long.

Along with the season-long promotions of Wiener Wednesday and Thirsty Thursday, the team has an Independence Weekend Celebration planned.

For the games on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday the Soddies will don special patriotic jerseys on-field, and all jerseys will be auctioned online beginning July 3rd at 3 pm.

There will also be a fireworks show following the game on those days, and gates will open at 6 pm all days except for 4 pm on Monday.
