SWAT And Special Crimes Unit Executing Search Warrants Near South Austin Street and Southwest 1st Avenue

The Amarillo Police Department’s SWAT Unit is assisting the Special Crimes Unit with executing a search warrant at a home near South Austin Street and Southwest 1st Avenue.
APD says this search warrant is related to a recent homicide.
The area is blocked off, drivers are advised to take an alternate route.
