TEA School Accountability

The 2022 Schools accountability data is out.
The Texas Education Agency recently released the data. The TEA reports that 25 percent the Districts in Texas, along with 33 percent of campuses improved their letter grade from 2019. 2019 was the last year school’s accountability was given out because of the pandemic’s effect on the education system.
Every School in Texas were given an A, B, or C rating or were assigned a not rated designation.
Three criteria were graded, School Achievement, School Progress, and Closing the Gaps.
Those that received a Not Rated designation for one of the domains is when they did not reach a 70 in a category.
The Amarillo ISD scored a B, overall, while the Canyon and Bushland School Districts scored A’s.
