Texas Sales Tax Holiday

This is a sales tax holiday in Texas. Shoppers in the Lone Star State can purchase emergency prep supplies,

Starting on Saturday, April 22nd at 12:01 a.m. until Monday, midnight, April 24th, shoppers can shop without sales tax encumbrance. 

The Texas Comptroller estimates shoppers will save at least 2 million dollars in state and local taxes.

Qualifying items include batteries, fuel containers, flashlights, Hurricane shutters, emergency ladders, and portable generators, priced at less than 3-thousand dollars.

There is no limit as to the quantity you can buy, if you buy online shipping, handling, and transportation charges are included in the sales price
