The team also finished the first day of competition with two ranked singles wins, courtesy of sophomore Olivia Peet and freshman Margarita Skryabina.

The Lady Raiders opened the day in doubles, where they were matched up against the host Horned Frogs. Tech went 3-0 in those matches against their conference rivals, beginning with a 7-1 tiebreak win by freshman Lisa Mays and sophomore Nell Miller over TCU’s Chloe Hule and Stevie Kennedy.
