The League of Women Voters Helping To Get More Citizens Registered To Vote

The League of Women Voters is gearing up to help get citizens registered to vote for the upcoming election.

Saturday, September 21 — Volunteer Deputy Registrars (VDRs) will register voters from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the United Supermarket at 3400 River Road and the Amigos store at 3300 I-40

East.Tuesday, September 24 – Volunteers will register voters from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on National Voter Registration Day at the Santa Fe Building at 9 th & Polk in downtown Amarillo.Saturday,

September 28 – League members will register voters from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the United Supermarkets at 4701 S. Washington and at 5807 S. 45 th.

The volunteers will be able to register new voters and help those who may have moved since the last elections.

Registrations will be done in time for citizens to vote in the Texas Constitutional Amendments election on November 5 th, as well as the March primary election.
