Thompson Park Pool Delayed Due To Supply Shortage

The opening of the new Thompson Park pool is being pushed back once more.
Jerry Danforth with the City of Amarillo says during the Amarillo Council Meeting that they are just over 40 days behind schedule due to recent rains the area has had.
Wylie Hicks, whose company Wylie Hicks Construction is overseeing the project, told council they are having issues getting supplies like plaster, cement, spray foam insulation and more due to not being in stock.
Right now, the pool is scheduled to open July 23rd.
