Thousands in Scholarships Got to Students

Two students attending West Texas A&M will receive over 5,000 in combined scholarships.

Ilda Corrales, an animal science major, won the Outstanding Freshman scholarship. The three-year, $6,000 scholarship was awarded after two rounds of interviews with contest judges.

Hannah Franklin, a senior broadcast journalism major, recently was named the winner of the $1,500 Bonner McLane Scholarship. This will be her second time to represent the Texas Association of Broadcasters.

Both students will represent WT in the coming school year.
