Elliott held out of training camp and the preseason as he demanded a new contract. Multiple outlets report the 24-year-old signed a 103-million dollar contract over eight years, with 50-million guaranteed. He is the first Cowboy to top 100-million dollars in total salary. Elliott had two years remaining on his rookie contract, but the new deal keeps him in Dallas through at least the 2026 season. He led the league in rushing in two of his first three years. Sod Poodles Lose To RockHounds In Game One Of Playoffs

(Amarillo, Texas) – The Sod Poodles dropped game one of the Texas League South Division Championship Series by a final score of 8-3 in front of 5,193 at HODGETOWN.
