Tractor-Trailer Crash In Hansford County Kills Two

A two-vehicle crash in Hansford County has taken the lives of two people.
The accident happened at 2:22 p.m. Tuesday on State Highway 136 four miles south of Gruver. 56-year-old Mark Ray of Clinton, Oklahoma was traveling west on FM 2018 in a 2021 Peterbilt tractor-trailer, and disregarded a stop sign.
20-year-old Adrian Ceniceros of Perryton was traveling northbound on SH136 in a 2001 Freightliner tractor-trailer when he was struck by the Peterbilt driven by Ray.
The collision caused both rigs to catch fire, causing significant damage, making it impossible to determine if either driver was wearing a seatbelt.
Both Ceniceros and Ray were pronounced dead at the scene.
That crash is being investigated by the Texas Highway Patrol.
