Traffic Pattern Changes Coming To Dumas FM 722

Changes are coming to an intersection in Moore County.
An auto crash that happened on July 15th at FM 722 ended up killing a woman and two children just three miles southwest of Dumas.
Department of Public Safety officials say, Judy Thrasher, her 12-year-old son Zakery, and 8-year-old Luke Sachitano died in the crash after smashing into a Ford F-150 after her car jumped into the southbound lanes of the road
Both vehicles burst into flames.
The road improvements that will be made include permanent barriers removed, adding a right turn lane, and appropriate sized signage to alert drivers, and a change in the traffic pattern on FM 722.
Tx DOT expects the work on the roadway to be complete by the end of the year.
