One man is in facing felony charges after a drug bust on Thursday.

At 5:51 p.m. the Texas Highway Patrol stopped a U-Haul traveling eastbound on Interstate 40 in Carson County.

The Trooper conducted a search of the vehicle and found 3,350 pounds of marijuana.

Drug Enforcement Administration Special Agents arrived to assist with the investigation.

The driver was arrested and booked into the Randall County Jail.

It is believed that the drugs were being transported from San Jose, California to New York City.

The case is now under investigation by the DEA.
