UPDATE: Palo Duro High On Lock Down, APD On Scene

One juvenile is in custody after police investigated a lock down at Palo Duro High School.
The school is still in lockdown as police monitor the situation.
The APD received information this morning leading to the investigation.
AISD said students are safe in their classrooms and in the area where they are while the lockdown was started.
Don Drive is blocked off as police work the incident.
Amarillo police are on scene at the Palo Duro High School.
The High School is on lockdown and IS NOT an active shooter situation.
Students will remain safe in their classrooms (or in the area they were in at the school when the lock down was first implemented) until the lockdown is lifted.
