Vehicle Fire in Dallam County

The Dalhart Volunteer Fire Department was called to a vehicle fire on Friday at 12:31 p.m.
Three units arrived to find that a pickup truck was fully engulfed on the side of Farmed and Market Road 1727 west of Dalhart.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the flames and the small grassfire.
The cause of the fire was due to dead weeds being caught in the undercarriage of the vehicle.
There were no injuries.
