Wastewater Spill-Lake Tanglewood

A wastewater spill happened Thursday morning. It happened at 2:30 a.m.from a wastewater treatment facility
It was contained and being blamed on the record amount of rainfall causing the plant to overflow into two locations.
One of the areas affected was a playa lake on the wastewater plant grounds, with an unknown amount and Lake Tanglewood receiving 85-thousand gallons.
The discharged wastewater was estimated to be over the 100,000-gallon public threshold set by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
