Week-Long Investigation Leads To Recovery Of Stolen Property, Arrest

A week-long investigation by APD and some of its specialized units resulted in the arrest of 35-year-old Adam Moreno for Felony Theft of Property.
It all started October 17 when the NPO (Neighborhood Police Officers) recovered a stolen Ford Bronco.
Moreno’s arrest and the recovery of the stolen Bronco provided information concerning a number of business and residential thefts around the city of Amarillo, including HTeaO and Home Depot.
It was learned later Moreno had been selling stolen items on Facebook Marketplace.
A search warrant executed Thursday on Moreno’s home netted more than 400 stolen items. He was booked into the Potter County Detention Center.
