West Texas A&M Veterinary Program Receives a Boost in Funding

West Texas A&M University is working to meet the large demand of Veterinarians in west texas.

On Tuesday the university announced that an additional $5 million will go towards supporting the WT veterinary program.  

This will increase the number of faculty members from five to 23.

It will also allow students to study for two years at College Station and two in Canyon.

This will give students the opportunity to learn how to treat large animals in a feed yard.
