Woman Arrested After Calling 911

30-year-old Alexandria Mitchell was rescued from a train’s coal car early Thursday morning. 

She called 911 just after 4 am, explaining she was trapped in the coal car.

BNSF was contacted to stop all trains while Amarillo Fire Department crews worked to free the woman.

Police say the woman was intoxicated, having come from a nearby club.

Paramedics checked the woman out at the scene, she was then placed under arrest for criminal trespass or railroad property.
