WT Track and Field Earning All-American Honors

After yet another successful indoor season, and multiple top 5 finishes in the Indoor National Championships, West Texas A&M University’s Men’s and Women’s track and field teams brought home more accolades with the announcement of this year’s All-America teams.
Highlighted by Indoor National Champions, Leah Belfield (60m&200m), Zada Swoopes (Shot Put), and Benjamin Azamati (60m&200m), the Buffs and Lady Buffs saw 20 student-athletes earn the honor, which was split into 12 overall first team selections, and 8 on the second team. The Buffs will return to the track on Friday, March 18th for the WT Spring Break Classic in Canyon.
