West Texas A and M University is teaming up with the Education Credit Union to host a financial literacy workshop.

The workshop is for students and alumni and starts January 30th.

Topics covered include building credit, home-buying, and car buying, and how to keep yourself covered with insurance.

Program Director Meghan Williams says the workshops are designed to help students prepare for life after college by focusing on financial topics that almost everyone will deal with frequently.

The workshops are designed for current students, but WT alumni are free to participate as well.

To register for the program go online to WTAMU Buff Smart website page.
