Xcel Power Outages

Power outages because of high winds across the Panhandle are being blamed for numerous power outages.
Before 6:00 a.m Sunday morning, Xcel Energy reported 3,000 customers were without power, and by 9:30 a.m the Xcel power outage map reported the number had dropped to 700 in the Texas Panhandle area.
The power outage forced many schools to close on Monday, including the Happy ISD.
