Panhandle PBS is hosting a night full of local blues artists.

Cody Jasper and Johnny Reverb Holston, both of Amarillo, will be performing their hits on more of a softer side than what they two are known for.

Holston grew up in Amarillo and later moved to Austin and began playing music there before moving back to Amarillo where he mentored Jasper when Jas[er started his music career.

Amarillo native Cody Jasper, lives in Austin where he makes music and is looking to release his latest full-length album in November. His influences include Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Otis Redding, Sam Cooke, and Waylon Jennings.

Johnny Reverb grew up in Amarillo and started playing music with friends. He was on top of the Austin music scene in the 70s and 80s, performing with Jerry Jeff Walker and Stevie Ray Vaughan.

Admission to the show is $10 and takes place on October 3rd at 7 pm at the PBS Studios 2408 South Jackson Street.
